ZAKAT CAMPAIGN 2016

The second year of Zakat Campaign 2016, kick started with volunteers of every batch pitching in and helping promote the cause of this campaign. This years creative team decorated an entire wall of KMDC with posters. The wall famously now known as the ‘HOPES wall’ was a great initiative to spread the message around the entire campus.

Apart from the amazing efforts displayed by the creative team of HOPES, the rest of the volunteers played their part by visiting many different places in the month of Ramzan in order to collect Zakat.

It was due to the dedication and hard work of these volunteers that 2016s Zakat Campaign closed down with a generous collection of over 6.5 million rupees.

ZAKAT CAMPAIGN 2015

In 2015, HOPES increased its fundraising activities and officially started off with its Zakat Campaign by visiting many different malls and societies. Volunteers decided to beat all odds and went out in the scorching heat and even during their fast with just one thought in mind; to collect as much zakat as they could for the patients of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Their pure intentions and hard work was the reason why this campaign reached great heights and they were able to collect a generous amount of almost 0.5 million (5 lacs) just through their roadside campaigns.
Due to this initiative taken almost 5 years ago, Zakat Campaign has now become a major fund-raising campaign and has engaged a big number of volunteers and expects more, in the years to come.
