Drug Bank Support Campaign 2024 (DBSC'24)
In 2024, we took a crucial step to preserve one of our most impactful initiatives, the HOPES Drug Bank, by launching the Drug Bank Support Campaign (DBSC’24). This campaign was born out of urgent need. As the number of patients relying on our free medicine and lab services increased, the funds collected during the early 2024 Zakat campaign began to run low. The rising cost of healthcare due to inflation further strained our limited resources, making it nearly impossible to meet the growing monthly expenses, which had reached 51 lakh rupees.
Faced with the possibility of closing down the Drug Bank, our safe haven for countless underprivileged patients, we initiated DBSC’24 to raise dedicated funds and keep this essential service alive. The campaign was not just about collecting donations; it was about ensuring continuity of care, dignity, and access to basic health rights for all, regardless of financial status.
Thanks to the unwavering support of our generous donors and compassionate community, DBSC’ 24 helped us bridge the gap during a critical time. It allowed us to continue distributing life-saving medicines and conducting important lab tests for those who would otherwise go without.
DBSC’24 stands as a testament to the power of collective empathy and action. It’s a reflection of our ongoing mission to serve humanity with compassion and a reminder that even in the face of challenges, hope must, and will, prevail.
